Prior to her corporate career as a financial services Company Officer and VP of Marketing, Michelle spent two years on active duty with the 100th Division (Institutional Training) in Louisville, Kentucky as the Deputy Chief of Staff from 2005-2007. She also established her own multimedia and marketing consulting business in 2004.
Following her hospitality career with Marriott and the Ramada Inn hotels, Michelle devoted her talents to Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) within Army Community and Family Activities from 1993-2001. She directed marketing, advertising, media, public relations, special events and corporate sponsorships at Army installations .
Michelle served in various MWR management roles to include Chief Marketing Officer and Services Division Chief. Her positions directly supported solders and family members at Fort Riley, Kansas; Fort Rucker, Alabama; and Fort Hood, Texas.
A graduate of Ohio University, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. She is a certified business coach and consultant. As a person who is dedicated to professional and personal growth, she is actively involved in her community as a life coach and participates in various committees and groups.
Michelle is a proud military spouse, retired Army Reserve Officer with 22 years of service, and a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff Officer Course and JMR Protocol School.
